Life is an important part of who we are (before we are too poor to survive). It is about sharing cherished moments, enjoying nature, working out, reading, and connecting with more people. We live on a lonely planet, where technologies come and go, but humanity's courage and curiosity will never fade.
Biosystems Engineering PhD candidate developing smart spray systems for effective weeding, with interests in vision-guided robotics and deep learning.
I am passionate about exploring emerging technologies and interdisciplinary challenges. Before pursuing my PhD, I gained industry experience at a smart hardware company specializing in VR glasses and a consumer internet company focused on fresh food e-commerce (meat, eggs, dairy products, beverages, and snacks). These experiences broadened my technical perspective and strengthened my ability to adapt to new fields.
During my PhD studies, I developed a broader research perspective, learned to design and conduct experiments with greater scientific rigor, and acquired the ability to publish research that fulfills the expectations of funded research projects.
Career Objective: Explore effective techniques and strategies, such as AI-driven solutions today and whatever groundbreaking technologies emerge through future human exploration, to solve real world problems, such as precision agriculture, and address real world needs worldwide, while recognizing that the optimal solution does not always require advanced technologies.
